Many climate scientists contend that mitigation of the unprecedented and “unequivocal” warming of recent decades, as described by the 2007 synthesis report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, will require international teamwork. While exact solutions to the climate crisis are not clear, it is clear that quick and decisive action, responsible behavior, and global cooperation will go a long way. Together they have compiled stunning photographs and writings from leading climate scientists at Columbia University’s Earth Institute to create Climate Change: Picturing the Science.
