Gemma Narisma: Associate Director for Research at the Manila Observatory
Dr. Gemma Narisma is the Associate Director for Research at the Manila Observatory in the Philippines where she heads the Regional Climate Systems program. She is also an Associate Professor in atmospheric science at the Ateneo de Manila University. She received her Ph.D. in atmospheric science from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, and completed her post-doctoral work at the University of Wisconsin. In 2013, the TOWN Foundation in the Philippines honored her with an Outstanding Women in the Nation's Service Award for Atmospheric Science.
