An Observer's Guide to Clouds and Weather: A Northeastern Primer on Prediction

In the preface to An Observer's Guide to Clouds and Weather: A Northeastern Primer on Prediction, the authors state that they “wish to make the reader's experience much more intimate with the atmosphere than simply viewing computer-generated output.” They succeed, not only for someone in professional practice, but also for a long-time connoisseur of the weather craft.   

ANTHONY J. SADAR, a Certified Consulting Meteorologist, is the air pollution meteorologist and an administrator for the Allegheny County Health Department's Air Quality Program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is also an instructor for Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and has taught for Penn State's Beaver campus in Monaca, Pennsylvania.
