September 2015

Warm, often dry weather covered large parts of the country during September. Short-term dryness was especially pronounced across the South, stretching from southern Oklahoma and central and eastern Texas into much of Mississippi. In many areas, the mild, dry September weather was welcomed by those trying to complete harvest or enjoy outdoor activities.
