The Idyll of the Mediterranean Climate: Where Sun and Fine Wines Flourish

The Mediterranean climate is arguably the most pleasant climate type on the planet. It is also one of the most unique, occurring in only a handful of locales and only under specific climatic regimes. Coupled with these conditions, the Mediterranean climate is also responsible for a variety of flora and fauna not found elsewhere. And for many, this is best reflected in the fact that some of the world's best wine regions are the result of the Mediterranean climate.
